    REACH

    REACH certificate of compliance is a document certifying that a product is compliant with the European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006). It can be a testing report or statement issued by a third-party testing organization. It could also be a self-declaration.

    RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and impacts the entire electronics industry and many electrical products as well. M Seals parts comply with directive 2011/65/EU and directive 2015/863 is known as RoHS 3, Sealing parts in rubber, plastic and PTFE.

    Food Contact Materials (FCMs)

    FCMs should be sufficiently inert so that their constituents neither adversely affect consumer health nor influence the quality of the food. To ensure the safety of FCMs, and to facilitate the free movement of goods, EU law provides for binding rules that business operators must comply with.

    PFAS (per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances)

    Consisting of more than 4,700 chemicals, perfluorinated and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are a group of commonly used man-made chemicals that accumulate over time in humans and the environment. They are called "perpetual chemicals" as they are extremely persistent in both our environment and body. They can lead to health problems such as liver damage, thyroid disease, obesity, fertility problems and cancer.
