Chemical Substances

At M Seals, we prioritise safety and compliance with chemical regulations for all our products. We closely follow the applicable laws and standards for chemical substances, including PFAS, REACH, and RoHS.

M Seals supports REACH's (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) goal of improving the EU's regulation of chemicals, promoting public health and safety, and protecting the environment.

We have asked our suppliers of components or finished products to provide us with information about the relevant chemicals in their delivered products. This enables us to provide our customers and consumers with information about Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) from the REACH declaration’s SVHC candidate list, as required by Article 33 of REACH.

Our commitment to complying with these regulations ensures that our products are safe for both customers and the environment. 

USP

At M Seals, we ensure that our products meet the highest standards for safety and quality. We offer declarations of conformity for our products in accordance with USP-87 and USP-88 standards, which test for biological reactivity in vitro and in vivo, respectively.

By adhering to these stringent testing procedures, we can guarantee that our products are safe and reliable for their intended uses. This is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering quality products that meet both our own high standards and the requirements set by regulatory authorities.

Food Contact Materials (FCMs)

At M Seals, we ensure that our products comply with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 concerning the safety of materials that come into contact with food (FCMs). Our FCMs are designed to be sufficiently inert so that their components neither adversely affect consumer health nor alter the quality of the food. To ensure the safety of our FCMs and facilitate the free movement of goods, we closely follow the binding rules established by EU legislation.
